We Are Hard Working and Self-Motivated
It is not difficult to understand that working in the field on a commercial roofing or other building envelope project is hard work. And if a Standard employee is not committed to doing that hard work, or the hard work associated with supporting each other, they will not be employed by Standard for very long. However, as we developed our 5 primary Core Values, we recognized that for hard work to be effective work, everyone must be self-motivated to do that work and self-motivated to work with their team to ensure that work is effective.

Being hard-working and self-motivated means that, no matter how mentally or physically challenging our work is on a given day, we must each have a keen interest in constantly learning and in self-improvement, we each must strive for perfection in everything we do, and we must each have a hunger to achieve.
